5/5/2017: Today we updated our blog and completed our challenge section. We added photos and prepared to be interviewed by Mrs. S.
5/8/2017: Today we had our interview with Mrs. S and tested out an ROV from last year to identify our best driver. Additionally, I was assigned the role of building the control box and watched videos learning how to cut wires and solder. Next class we will start practicing these tasks.
5/10/17: Today I completed learning about soldering and then observed someone from another team practice soldering. I also practiced cutting and stripping wires and prepped them for soldering. Afterward, I practiced soldering.
5/12/17: Today I practiced soldering on the practice circuit board. I soldered the pegs on the back of the board and our circuit worked.
5/15/17: Was absent from class. See make-up day.
5/16/17: Make-up day. Started control box by beginning to follow power point instructions. Soldered and cut attachments.
5/17/17: I continued working on the control box and soldered all the essential pieces onto the power board.
5/19/17: I finished the control box up to the assembly and tested it. It did not work but when Mrs. S tested it later it worked.
