5/5/17:Today I documented the “challenge” section of the blog; I talked about the different tasks, the points potentially gained, and real-world context
5/8/17: Today, our team was interviewed about the specific parts of an ROV, as well as general knowledge. Afterwards, we went to the mini-pool, and tested out an example ROV. When we got back to the classroom, we divided up tasks; I am assigned to help construct the control box-by the end of the period, I had seen all of the safety videos.
5/10/17: Today, I finished watching the required soldering videos; afterwards, I practiced wire cutting (which needs to be done before the soldering process begins). Later in the period, I took several pictures of the wires we cut, as well as the soldering machine.

5/12/17: Today, I helped to solder the practice board; after we finished the pegs, we worked on the wires. After testing it and realizing it worked, we are now ready to finally start working on the real control box!

5/16/17: Today, I came in at flex to make up my time from monday. I learned how to waterproof soldering, and learned that i’m quite good at it! From now on, in addition to my photography duties, I intend to make ‘waterproofing’ one of my main contributions to this team!
5/17/17: Today, I helped cut wires and waited so I could waterproof. In the meantime, I took photos and updated the daily blogs.
5/19/17: Today, I spent the period assembling/waterproofing with Drey and Quinn.
