Daily Log: QH

5/5/2017: Today I contributed to fish fools by researching, and reporting two interesting historical ROV’s. For the majority of the time I was researching ROVs that I thought were important, which I based off of influence on the marine bio and biomechanic communities. I also found pictures of these ROVs and placed them next to descriptions.

5/8/17: Today we were assessed on our knowledge of ROVs my Mrs. S. We also learned, and assembled the test ROV form last year. We then watched tutorial videos on how to solder.

5/10/17: Today I contributed to fish fools by setting up all of the soldering irons, in addition to showing Mrs. S my skill in soldering.

5/12/17: Today I built the propeller mechanism for the motor system. I also started working on the wire cross thing, and I stripped the ethernet cable down to begin the process of waterproofing the cables.

5/15/17: Absent, see make up day.

5/17/2017: Today I worked on finishing the soldering but turns out we messed up and we were suppose to start the waterproofing first but good thing we didn't get to far before Ms.S told us we were doing it in the wrong steps. We still have to fix our wires and waterproof and solder.

5/19/2017: Today we worked on soldering the last of the wires and we learned how to water proof them and did't have time to finish soldering. We also messed up so we striped what we had water proofed and we are starting all over again and restarting the process again. I also stayed for G to make-up for 5/15.
